As we know that every month, PlayStation Plus refreshes its Game Catalog (especially for the 'Extra' and 'Premium' tiers) with a batch of new games while rotating out some older titles as well. In October 2025, Sony is leaning into a spooky lineup which is perfect timing for Halloween by the way. So, new several horror, narrative, and dramatic games will join the catalog and also, it should be noted that these additions are available only to those with Extra or Premium subscriptions (not just the Essential tier). Games such - Silent Hill 2 (a remake), Until Dawn, V Rising, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1, As Dusk Falls, and Wizard with a Gun are being added for 'PlayStation Plus Extra' and one special bonus: "Tekken 3" just for 'Premium' subscribers will be added to the Classics catalog for PS1/PS4/PS5 access and also these games are set to go live on October 21, 2025.
Game-by-Game Additions and Tier Info:-
1) Silent Hill 2 (Remake):
A modern remake of the cult horror classic, with updated graphics, sound, and atmosphere aimed at both longtime fans and newcomers as well. This game will be added to PS5 and this title is included in Extra and Premium subscriptions.
2) Until Dawn:
A narrative horror / interactive drama where your choices will shape who lives or dies in a chilling story. This game will be added to PS5 and this title is included in both Extra and Premium subscriptions.
3) V Rising:
A vampire-themed survival action-RPG game that also provides the abilities of crafting, exploration, and combat for the enjoyment. This game will be added to PS5 and this title is included in both Extra and Premium subscriptions.
4) Yakuza: Like a Dragon:
A turn-based entry in the Yakuza series, combining serious story beats with over-the-top side activities as well. This game will be added to both PS5 and PS4 and this title is included in both Extra and Premium subscriptions.
5) Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1:
A horror puzzle–adventure with creepy toys as villains and huge jump scares while making progress. This game will be added to both PS5 and PS4 and is included in both Extra and Premium subscriptions.
6) As Dusk Falls:
A narrative drama game where your choices affect the story — more emotional with less horror. This game will be added to both PS5 and PS4 and is included in both Extra and Premium subscriptions.
7) Wizard with a Gun:
A co-op sandbox or shooter where you combine magic and firearms in the gameplay. This game will be added to PS5 and this title is included in both Extra and Premium subscriptions.
8) Tekken 3:
The classic fighting game from the original PlayStation era, now playable on modern hardware via emulation. This game will be added to PS1, PS4 and PS5 (Classics). However, this game is only for Premium members (Classic Catalog).
Official GameSpot (https://www.gamespot.com/) has reported that four titles - Battlefield 1, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, Tour de France 2023, The Last Clockwinder will be removed on October 21 which is also verified through Sony’s PlayStation Plus "Last Chance to Play" listings.
