With the start of the new year, PlayStation Plus has already revealed its lineup of 'Monthly Games for January 2026'. They are giving three new epic games to claim and play for free as long as they add them within the availability window and these games provide PS subscribers a lot different experiences. The lineup reflects Sony’s continued support of the PS Plus Essential tier and is confirmed by official PlayStation channels. In short, this is a good beginning for the year 2026 as Sony officially offered these games for completely free.
The Three Free PS Plus Games in January 2026:-
1) Need for Speed Unbound:
First we have a great racing game - "Need for Speed Unbound". This is basically a high-energy street racing game from the classic franchise focused on building reputation, racing rivals, and customizing your ride. This game is accessible only on PS5.
2) Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed:
This is a lively remake of the whimsical platformer where players guide 'Mickey Mouse' through the Wasteland, using paint and thinner to reshape the environments and solve some puzzles. It mixes nostalgia with fresh the gameplay mechanics. The good thing is that, this game is accessible on both PS4 and PS5.
3) Core Keeper:
At last, we have 'Core Keeper' which is an indie mining sandbox adventure where players explore underground caverns, gather resources, build bases, and fight bosses either solo or with friends. Foe players who love action, exploration and story, this game will come in handy. This game is accessible on both PS4 and PS5.
The "January 2026 PS Plus Monthly Games" will be available to claim from January 6, 2026 until February 2, 2026. Important thing to note is that, only PlayStation Plus subscribers including Essential, Extra, or Premium tiers can claim these free monthly games permanently. Which means, unsubscribed PS users cannot claim these free games. Another thing to note is that, before January's titles begin, members have until January 5, 2026 to claim December's lineup.
