When Microsoft bought Minecraft for $2.5-Billion, they stated that it should be around for 100 Years. For fans, that sounded like a dream: a forever-evolving game! But, fast forward to now that 100-year dream seems to be shrinking! Due to problematic yet simple reasons.

In the Minecraft live 2022, Agnes (one of the game’s lead developers) said they want to keep updating Minecraft for the next 50 years which is still a long time. But, this year in a recent interview, She said they wanna keep updating it for 15 more Years. These numbers are just going down which shows us that Minecraft might end soon.
Why Minecraft 2 will never happen?
The main reason for this is that Minecraft is not just a game, it's Platform and an Ecosystem that created Extremely Huge Community. That's why Mojang has recently confirmed that there will be No Minecraft 2 or literally has no plans for a Minecraft sequel. Because Launching a "Minecraft 2" would be risky as it can divide Minecraft Community and Breaks down thousands of servers.
