As we already know that the upcoming survival-horror title Resident Evil Requiem (RE9) which is scheduled for release on February 27, 2026, has already gained plenty of buzz, and upon that, a leak from a major retailer recently appeared. This leak was accidentally revealed by "GameStop" and according to the now-modified product page for RE9's Deluxe Edition on GameStop, the package includes several items explicitly tied to "Rose Winters" which are three exclusive outfits and a "Morphic Visor" which is described as a "unique cosmetic look for Rose's visor".
Because these bonuses reference Rose by name and even call out a "visor" for Rose, many fans and gaming media sites interpreted this as accidental confirmation that Rose could be a second playable character (not just a cameo or NPC cameo, but a fully playable character alongside Grace).IF this is true, then it truly matters as Rose (the daughter of Ethan and Mia Winters) first appeared in 'Resident Evil Village' and became the protagonist of the 'Shadows of Rose' DLC.
