The psychological horror game titled Who Are You!? officially launches its Episode 1 on Steam on March 27, 2026, and is available right now for PC players worldwide. This game is developed by "Haunting Humans Studio," which is an indie game studio based in Argentina. You step in as "Ray Roswell," who is a man tormented by grief and trauma. His wife "Amanda" was abducted (possibly by aliens) 20 years ago. Now, his only daughter has gone missing, and Ray must undertake a desperate, search that forces him to confront not only the physical danger around him, but also the psychological scars buried deep within his mind.

The game is built upon the actual investigations, testimonies, and findings of renowned Argentine ufologists Silvia and Andrea Pérez Simondini. "Silvia" is the founder of the UFO Museum in Victoria, Entre Ríos, Argentina, and director of the field research group Visión OVNI. "Andrea" is the Director of CEFORA and the South America Continental Director for ICER (International Coalition for Extraterrestrial Research), which is recognized internationally for her work on UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) and anomalous events.

This game is a first-person narrative horror experience that provides storytelling, puzzle-solving, immersive exploration, and emotional and psychological interactions, which is already described by the developers. "Haunting Humans Studio" worked with a licensed psychologist consultant to accurately portray the mental health impact of trauma, grief, and abduction on surviving family members. Importantly, the studio has confirmed that no AI was used in the game's art, sound design, or development. Instead, every element was crafted entirely by human hands.

Basic Details:

Haunting Humans Studio:
This is an independent game development studio based in Argentina. Their mission, as they describe it, is straightforward: "We make games to haunt humans." Beyond developing Who Are You!?, the studio also provides 3D art and gamification services to other game studios and tech companies.

Game Announcement:
Who Are You!? was announced and made available to wishlist on Steam well ahead of its launch. The game generated early buzz by participating in the "Latin American Games Showcase," where the developers streamed a live demo session with the development team. A free demo was also made available on Steam, giving players a roughly 40-minute preview covering an introductory level and a sequence set in 'The Cabin.' A second, updated demo was released as well, showing improvements that were made based on community feedback.

Original Release Date and Delay:
The game was initially targeted for release in December 2025. However, in December 2025, Haunting Humans Studio announced a delay. In their statement to the community, the developers said: "We're moving Episode 1 release to Q1 2026. We know this might be disappointing but you deserve the best experience we can create, and these extra few months will let us deliver the quality you expect from us." So, the game launched on March 27, 2026.

The Episodic Model and Pricing:
Who Are You!? uses a unique and player-friendly episodic release model. This game is planned as a three-episode series. Purchasing Episode 1 at launch gives players access to all future episodes at no extra charge. The studio has also confirmed a progressive pricing structure, meaning the base price of the game that will increase with each new episode released, so players who buy in early during Episode 1 lock in the best possible deal for the entire series.

Voice Cast and Soundtrack:
Who Are You!? features a notable professional voice cast, including "Valerie Rose Lohman" (known from What Remains of Edith Finch and Wolfenstein: Youngblood), "Jonah Scott" (from Dying Light 2: Stay Human), and "Aleks Le" (from Persona 3: Reloaded and Ghost of Yotei). The game's soundtrack is described as dynamic and haunting, composed and performed by "Auric Echoes" members "Jacob Noska" and "Jonah Henthorne."

The Real UFO Research Consultants:
A pillar of the game's identity is its collaboration with real-world ufology experts. "Silvia Pérez Simondini" is a pioneering 'Argentine UFO researcher,' founder of the UFO Museum in Victoria, Entre Ríos, and director of the field research group "Visión OVNI." Her daughter, "Andrea Pérez Simondini," is the Director of 'CEFORA' (Center for Studies on Frontier and Anomalous Phenomena) and the 'South America Continental Director' for ICER (International Coalition for Extraterrestrial Research).

Both are internationally recognized for their documented investigations into alien abductions, UAP sightings, and anomalous phenomena. Their direct involvement ensures that Who Are You!? is based on real case studies, real testimonies, and real emotional consequences experienced by abduction-affected families.
